licensed physical therapist in Anaheim Hills Is Aluminium Foil Safe To Use? Posted By: Anshu PanDe It just seems like yesterday when I was a little girl and my mom would pack a parantha in a tea towel and send it with me to my school for lunch. I loved the way the lunch was packed which never spilled a drop of oil and never messed my school bag. The years saw a new trend approaching. The tea towels were replaced by Aluminium Foil, as it was believed to keep the food warm, fresh and avert any spillage.Of course we as a kid loved it, not that it mattered to us but we could crush the aluminum foil into a ball after finishing our lunch and play recklessly in the break. Unfortunately playing with it was the only legitimate and safe use of Aluminium foil. Now when I look back I realise how limited was our knowledge. We were unaware as to how unsafe it is to wrap the food with aluminium foil specially when it is hot. A study showed that increasing level of aluminium in our food and life leads of brain and bone damage.

Biotechnology Sens Research Foundation Releases Keynote Video Highlighting The Need To Transform The Discovery Posted By: PRP MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif, October 21, 2015 – The SENS Research Foundation has released a video featuring a keynote address by Chas Bountra, Chief Scientist at the SGC, University of Oxford, as delivered at its recent Rejuvenation Biotechnology Conference in August 2015. The keynote highlights society’s need to completely transform the manner in which new medicines are discovered. Bountra asserts that while patients want more novel, more effective, and more affordable medicines more quickly, the reality is that drug discovery today is too costly, too risky and too slow. The video of Bountra’s keynote, Transforming the Discovery of New Medicines, is available to view now. The Rejuvenation Biotechnology Conference gathers experts across research, academia, industry, policy, finance and regulatory fields to share ideas and the latest research and developments on diseases impacting the aging population on a global scale. Bountra’s keynote provides an overview of how new medicines are commonly discovered and researched today, citing organizational and scientific challenges as the causes behind a process that is slow, costly and risky.

Biotechnology New Study Funded By Sens Research Foundation Sheds Greater Light On Diabetes And The Aging Process Posted By: PRP MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, October 16, 2015 – A new study funded by the SENS Research Foundation sheds greater light on diabetes and aging through a synthetic process developed at Yale University. The new process will allow researchers to study glucosepane, a key molecule involved in diabetes, inflammation, and human aging. Glucosepane is considered to be a critical chemical link in both diabetes and aging. It is also an independent risk factor for long-term microvascular complications in diabetes. In an article published this week in the journal Science, senior author David Spiegel and his colleagues describe the new synthesis, as well as a new synthetic methodology, which may have applications beyond the current research. Spiegel, a professor of chemistry and pharmacology at Yale, says that with access to synthetic glucosepane, scientists will now be able to generate tools to examine the role this molecule plays in human health and perhaps, develop molecules to inhibit or reverse its formation. Glucosepane contains a rare isomer of imidazole, which has never before been observed in natural molecules, other than those in the glucosepane family. Spiegel and his colleagues developed a new methodology for synthesizing this imidazole form that requires only eight steps.

diabetes Posted By: Sherry James Global immunomodulators market is expected to witness a significant growth over the coming seven years owing to increasing prevalence rate of chronic diseases such as multiple sclerosis, cancer, asthma and allergies caused by mold spores, insect venom and dust mites. Immunomodulators are the fundamental agents of immunotherapy that stimulates the immune system. Immunomodulators may show high efficacy rate if used in combination with conventional treatment methods. These devices are an attractive approach as they are less costly than available drugs in the market thereby increasing the demand for immunomodulators over the forecast period. Browse full research report for immunomodulators market: The entire immunomodulators market is bifurcated into immunosuppressants (antimetabolites, antibodies, interferon beta, glucocorticoids and calcineurin inhibitors) and immunostimulators (vaccines, interferon alpha and antibodies). Immunosuppressants have a broader spectrum for drugs in the pipeline such as antiproliferative drugs and antimetabolite drugs. Antimetabolites are expected to gain a wider share in the market as they inhibits induction of hypersensitivity which is a common skin disease. Immunostimulants are anticipated to register greater market share owing to its increased usage in the treatment of multiple sclerosis and increasing incidence rate of cancer and allergies.
