三星盯上iOS,木马袭城还是远交近攻?-搜狐科技      不久前,三星宣布将在苹果App Store上架多款应用,未来大多数三星应用都会有iOS版本。鉴于微软和谷歌的先例,三星此举并未受到过多的关注。但近日BetaNews发表了马克 麦克唐纳的文章,盛赞三星针对iOS平台打造应用是明智之举,犹如在苹果腹地安放了特洛伊木马。   对于木马袭城这个说法,麦克唐纳给出了三个观点,一是三星能够趁机将自家的智能硬件产品推销给iPhone的使用人群;二是能够为三星的手机等产品进行潜移默化的宣传;三是很多付费用户的开发者往往选择iOS平台,如果三星能够争取到付费用户,无疑将拥有更大的想象力。事实上这些分析不无道理,三星开发iOS应用的本质是在提高自家产品的竞争力,不排除从iPhone阵营抢夺用户的初衷。但对比微软的先例以及苹果的反映来看,三星想要实现木马袭城似乎并没有那么简单。   这里我们要弄清楚两个问题。   首先,三星和微软们为何开始青睐iOS平台?从表面上来看,苹果是三星最大的竞争对手,手机、平板乃至智能硬件无不针锋相对,三星此举却也为倾销手机周边产品打开了另一个窗口。   对于这一点,微软的思路似乎要更加清晰。不管是iPhone、iPad还是Apple Watch,说白了都是服务的载体,windows是服务,office、Cortana等微软的优势产品也是服务。在iPad Pro的发布会上,微软副总裁亲自站台推广office应用,Apple Store也并未因自家的办公软件而拒绝office,双方的合作似乎取得了双赢的效果。在乔布斯时代,苹果通过软硬件结合的形式打造了一个“围墙花园”,用今天的话说就是苹果封闭的生态系统。这种思想影响了很多厂商,即便是在开源的安卓上,依然有很多厂商利用定制化的UI和特色APP围其一道护城墙,三星便是其中这一,如今无论是苹果还是三星都在有意用开放的形式扩大自己的生态布局,比如说三星开发iOS应用,苹果通过MFi认证等吸纳更多的产品。   在硬件上,三星一直都是苹果最重要的合作伙伴,在服务上这种合作将继续存在。相比而言,苹果拥有7.82亿的iCloud用户和超过10亿台的iOS设备,即便不考虑手机类产品的直接竞争,单是服务和手机周边产品的市场就已经足够大。微软放下身段向这个市场抛出了橄榄枝,对于产品线极长的三星来说亦不可或缺。   其次,三星的下一个竞争对手是谁?物联网和智能家居是探讨科技巨头们未来布局的热门词汇,苹果瞄向了这个市场,三星也瞄向了这个市场,同时还有谷歌、华为等一大批软硬件厂商。那么三星最棘手的竞争对手是谁,恐怕苹果还要往后排一些。   众所周知,从智能手表到智能电视,再到所有和智能有关系的数码产品,几乎清一色的是Android系统。或许是因为Android市场上存在的这样或那样的问题,包括三星在内的很多厂商都在试图逃离安卓,而祭出Tizen操作系统的三星恰是其中最为活跃的。和很多小众操作系统一样,Tizen为了弥补资源上的不足选择了兼容Android应用,尽管三星投入了很多精力为Tizen吸引开发者,至今仍难真正独立于Android。这就造成了一个问题,不管是三星的电视产品、Tizen手机还是智能硬件都不可避免的面临安卓阵营的竞争。   以智能手表为例,三星可以说是这一领域的领头羊,实际市场份额也遥遥领先于其他品牌,可在Galaxy Gear出现之前,一直没有产品能够称得上成功。即便Galaxy Gear 2取得了不错的口碑,在声势上仍不及谷歌所推崇的Moto 360,甚至在国内连HUAWEI Watch都不如。另外,Apple Watch由于兼容性只支持iPhone,从一定程度上把安卓用户拒之门外,也就避免了和三星智能手表的直接对抗。反之,LG、索尼包括国内的联想、中兴等接连推出自己的智能手表产品,三星智能手表的成败不在苹果,而在于声势浩大的Android Wear联盟。   也就是说,三星在物联网、智能硬件和智能家居领域,直接面临着谷歌的竞争,尽管苹果也有自己的生态体系,可苹果罕见的开放姿态对三星来说却是一个不错的机会,至少在产品销量上是这样。   中国古代兵法中有一种思想是“远交近攻”,即联络距离远的国家,进攻邻近的国家。回头来看,三星为自家产品推出iOS应用,恰有一种“远交近攻”的意味。   对三星而言,手机产品市场份额的逐渐缩减,一方面是因为和苹果你死我活的竞争,一方面是因为新崛起的安卓厂商们,尤其是在性价比上占据了绝对优势的中国厂商们。从最近的数据来看,2016年1月份苹果在华销量较去年12月份下滑了35%,三星在中国1月份的销量环比下降近一半。手机市场的现状似乎预示了智能硬件产品的未来,如果三星仍旧为了自家平台的独特竞争力而放弃iOS市场,无疑是得不偿失的。况且,谷歌早就在去年宣布将为iPhone开发Android Wear的兼容软件,如果苹果肯为谷歌开绿灯,对三星苦心积虑搭建的Tizen系统将是当头棒喝。   站在苹果的角度来讲,三星开发iOS软件倒也不是一件坏事。三星的硬件制造能力不容小觑,三星系产品的加入无疑可以扩大苹果MFi体系的规模,还能够帮助苹果去培养用户习惯。就拿Apple Watch来说,苹果的竞争对手除了智能手表还有传统腕表厂商和用户培养,三星出色的智能手表类产品在用户培养上有着毋庸置疑的作用。当然,在风险管理上苹果也有自己的一个套路,比如在Apple Watch上市后,Apple Store下架了Fitbit可穿戴设备为自家产品让路。而且,相比于苹果系产品的无缝连接,三星也好,谷歌也罢,在iPhone的兼容性和用户体验上必然稍逊一筹,对苹果产品的日后发力倒也不是一件坏事。   天下攘攘皆为利来,三星拥抱iOS并不像是在苹果腹地安放了特洛伊木马,倒像是一种远交近攻的打法。可以预见,未来将会有更多的厂商投入苹果这个竞争对手的怀抱,而苹果将采取何种态度,我们拭目以待。   Alter,互联网观察者,长期致力于对智能硬件、O2O、手机等行业的观察研究。微信公众号:spnews相关的主题文章:
